The year is 2009 and Rochester Academy is opening its doors for the
first time. Its handpicked students are arriving from across the globe,
looking forward to, or perhaps even dreading the grand education their
parents have been promised. But is it just coincidence that every student
at this school is Marked?
They are humans with power and a long forgotten history, known only
by the tell-tale marks imprinted on their skin. The Marked had once
protected the world against other-wordly threats, Demons and Monsters
that are now believed to be nothing but childish stories and old myths.
But the Marked are rising once again, and some say the creatures of
darkness will soon follow.
